Tricks to Solve Seating Arrangement Questions

There are several models in the seating arrangement like..

              1. Single row seating arrangement

              2. Double row seating arrangement

              3. Circular, Rectangular, Square etc., seating arrangement

Facing inwards – towards the centre of the circle:

All their ‘right’ is in anti-clockwise direction and their ‘left’ is in clockwise direction.

Facing outward – away from the centre of the circle.

All their ‘right’ is in clockwise direction and their ‘left’ is in anti-clockwise direction.

Example: In a classroom, seven persons are sitting in a row. Q is sitting left to R but right to P. W is sitting right to N and left to P. Similarly, S is sitting right to R and left to T. Find out who is sitting in the middle.

Solution:

Q is sitting left to R but right to P => P Q R

W is sitting right to N and left to P => NWP

S is sitting right to R and left to T => RST
